They say Truth is relative but we say that there are just some Universally Accepted Truths that can’t be denied [well, not by us anyways] and so we decided to host a game to try and figure out what those were:

[The Story So Far: Every Wednesday at 12 noon South African time [6am EDT] an inspired and growing number of brilliant, creative and absolutely fun people from all around the world take part in what is called a Hashtag game. @AFrikkinHashtag [say it out loud] is South Africa’s #1 Hashtag game and is always a lot of fun. The F.L.O.P. [or Fish List Of Prizeworthyness] is the collection of some of the best tweets from each week’s game and is what all seriously comedic Hashtaggers aspire to…]

One Universally Accepted Truth is that we at AFH started out this game by getting the invites out and the ball rolling:

Another Universally Accepted Truth is that when there is an AFH game, there is an appearance on the Trend Charts not far away:

And even another Universally Accepted Truth is that the reason YOU came to read this blog post was to see if you made it on to the F.L.O.P. so without further much ado about nothing, let’s see this week’s:

FISH LIST OF PRIZEWORTHYNESS [aka The F.L.O.P.]

Who better than John the Lane to start us off with this painful reality:

Andrew’s comment received a “Hear Hear” from the audience:

While Larry’s was a cautionary tale:

While this IS true, has anyone ever actually done that experiment where you tie a peanut buttered toast to a cat and drop it and see who wins?

Oh wait, here’s Rob:

Chris had a special message for, you know, those people:

While John helped us keep up with the times:

Duds was back with some deep philosophical musings many would disagree with:

Rachel delved into my weather controlling abilities. i seriously do believe i can control the weather. If i want it to be really cold i leave my hoodie at home and if i want it to be really hot i go out wearing my hoodie. Every. Time.

Elissa definitely speaks the truth on this one:

As a stage performer, i have also discovered that you don’t need Boos to have a good time either. And that booze and boos are often somewhat related.

Carli can drop the mic on this one:

So muhc concurrage on this one:

Ben rolled the drums:

CC is on to me:

James is giving us a glimpse into future things:

Sean with a kind of true but largely feels untrue one:

So many really good tweets and such universal truths we have shared – well done! But as always with these things, a universal truth to be remembered is that some tweets just seem to rise to the top of the pile and so let’s take a look at this week’s:

F.L.O.P. NINE

[9] Lady L helps put it to you bluntly:

[8] Jessie tuned us with this bankable truth:

[7] Wes bringing the cutlery to a gun fight, or something:

[6] Bender Said brought some perspective to your lunacy:

[5] Craig volunteered his services as fashion police:

[4] Saga brings the spotlight on being faithful:

[3] Mini T dropped some Jack Nicholson on the game:

[2] i love this one from Rachel in terms of the protection benefits:

[1] But it was this simple and yet profound Truth moment from Ben that we wish was a Universally Accepted Truth:

Thank you to everyone for playing and as always we appreciate you keeping it Family and fun and it continues to be the best Frikkin game in Africa and beyond…

Til next time, keep the WIT in the Twitterer and be safe out there.
