If you haven’t watched Noel Fielding as the Moon in the hit UK series ‘The Mighty Boosh’ then you may not have lived.

We all have a celeb or two that has a skill or gift or general weirdness that we all appreciate from time to time. So we decided to play a game to find out who your person is and why…

[The Story So Far: Every Wednesday at 1pm South African [6am EDT] an inspired and growing number of brilliant, creative and absolutely fun people from all around the world take part in what is called a Hashtag game. @AFrikkinHashtag [say it out loud] is South Africa’s #1 Hashtag game and is always a lot of fun. The F.L.O.P. [or Fish List Of Prizeworthyness] is the collection of some of the best tweets from each week’s game and is what all seriously comedic Hashtaggers aspire to…]

We started by getting people prepared…

And i had @geoffreyclark33 as my first-time co-host ready to help this thing rumble…

i am the hugest Chris Pratt fan and pretty much anything he does onscreen [and often of it] makes me happy and so i started with him:

@prattprattpratt, you come across as such a down to earth, completely hilarious goofball. Real, honest, fun! #TellACelebWhyYouLikeThem

Then we invited the masses [psst, that’s you!]

Throw in a few more examples for good measure:

James Corden

Noel Fielding

Two of the funnest okes on the box – what’s not to like? And in Noel Fielding one of the craziest most out there people of all time. He’s like the entire Monty Python crew stuffed into one man’s malleable skin.

Geoff dived into the deep waters of AFH with great prowess and here are some of his:

Two of our favourite Bots swung round for a visit:

And it was a decently trending game:

Italy has become a recent country to more regularly start trending the AFH game a little more frequently:

So HUGE SHOUTOUT to our Italian fans – glad to have you with us.

And also SUPER STOKED to trend in our home country once more and this is becoming a more regular thing:

It was brilliant to have Peta joining in to share their love for those celebs who speak out for the animals:

But, as always, we know this is all about YOU and seeing if you made it onto the list above all lists [except maybe @midnight if you’re into that kind of thing] and we are of course talking about:

So many tweets so we couldn’t grab them all [just tell yourself repeatedly if this if yours is not one of these] but some of the tweets that jumped out at us in this game and our Top Tweets for today were the following:

Other Geff kicking it off with one of Hashtag Gamings favourites [who still doesn’t follow me, sigh, one day Paula!!!]

Grendel choosing someone with my surname cos Andersons:

Cocktail was appreciative of a good gut-pulling-out:

Richard was all about the skills:

Michael had multiple reasons for choosing Leo:

Finch picked one of my favourite actors and activists:

John, a fellow Whovian, had a behind the scenes appreciation:

While Anna kept it local [with a name i would struggle to pronounce even close to correctly]

Kyle brought the one liner:

While Lady Ä brought her claws out for this one:

While Finch scores Misdirectional points for getting this one in on time:

Daniel looked beyond the persona to the man himself:

Mark may not quite have been on board with what the rest of us were going for:

Cameron appreciated the tough love:

Dad was all about the nepotism:

Sean appreciated the lifestyle advice he received:

Yevette also saw the woman behind the actress and liked what she saw:

Loved that it was a guy saying this:

While Carrie appreciated the lifeline humour:

Kwema had a nomination i completely agree with:

TDL added to a lot of love for Tara Strong [who we are secretly hoping will co-host AFH one day]:

Great to see Louise bringing one of our own to the list:

What a great list and if you click on the tag on the Twitterer you can find thousands more. What we loved about the majority of offerings on this list was that they look beyond the celeb’ness to internal or other external measures of being decent people or making a difference in other people’s lives. These feel like good things to recognise in people and be inspired by. And it’s great to have an opportunity to say thank you to some people who have inspired us in different ways.

Thanks as always for playing – we are looking forward to hanging out with the growing community of AFH in the New Year, as always keeping it FAMILY and on the lookout for tweets that are CLEVER and FUNNY and MISDIRECTIONAL and RANDOM [but related!] and PUNNY and you guys always bring them…

See you in just a bit as our next game lands as always on Wed at 1pm South African time and 6am EST…

If you’re not yet on the @HashtagRoundup app then you don’t know what you’re missing out on – jump on and keep track of all the Hashtagging games that are always on the go.

From me, @BrettFishA, i will see you in just a bit

Let’s keep the WIT in the Twitterer, yo!
