A Frikkin Hashtag: #TellACelebWhyYouLikeThem

If you haven’t watched Noel Fielding as the Moon in the hit UK series ‘The Mighty Boosh’ then you may not have lived.

We all have a celeb or two that has a skill or gift or general weirdness that we all appreciate from time to time. So we decided to play a game to find out who your person is and why…

[The Story So Far: Every Wednesday at 1pm South African [6am EDT] an inspired and growing number of brilliant, creative and absolutely fun people from all around the world take part in what is called a Hashtag game. @AFrikkinHashtag [say it out loud] is South Africa’s #1 Hashtag game and is always a lot of fun. The F.L.O.P. [or Fish List Of Prizeworthyness] is the collection of some of the best tweets from each week’s game and is what all seriously comedic Hashtaggers aspire to…]

We started by getting people prepared…

And i had @geoffreyclark33 as my first-time co-host ready to help this thing rumble…

i am the hugest Chris Pratt fan and pretty much anything he does onscreen [and often of it] makes me happy and so i started with him:

What a great list and if you click on the tag on the Twitterer you can find thousands more. What we loved about the majority of offerings on this list was that they look beyond the celeb’ness to internal or other external measures of being decent people or making a difference in other people’s lives. These feel like good things to recognise in people and be inspired by. And it’s great to have an opportunity to say thank you to some people who have inspired us in different ways.
