Such as a Twit of Tweeters or a Farce of Facebookers?
THIS WEEK WE COMPLETELY DOMINATED! Let’s just get that out of the way…
Number 1 in the USA, in Canada, in the UK, number two in Australia [only cos World Cup cricket was happening] and finally, the second time making it on to the SA trend charts we went right to the top and went #1 in SA as well. South Africa’s Top Trending Hashtagging game is on the map and it’s all thanks to YOU.
Above and beyond that we hit Twitterer Moments for the second week in a row as well as getting our very own Buzzfeed article highlighting what they thought were 27 of the best ones you provided…
All this while playing on the @HashtagRoundup app which makes it easier for us to have access to all of the big games that are going down.
Our Official co-hostess was the incredible @Eezeebee101, a fellow South African who completely got into the FAMILY-friendly and four pillar vibe of @AFrikkinHashtag as we continued the big search for those tweets that are FUNNY or CLEVER or MISDIRECTIONAL or RANDOM [but related] – you guys are getting more and more on board with that every week and the Game Community is growing with much fun and banter along the way. In addition to @Eezeebee101 i have a growing team of mostly previous co-hosts who jump in and help propel the game to the proportions it rises to.
i am also always on the lookout for new co-hosts and so if you have 2000K plus followers on the Twitterer then drop me an inbox and we can chat [if you have less than that but are super super keen then let me know too – plans can be arranged]
i was blown away by a number of messages like these:
#ModernCollectiveNouns is my favorite trending hashtag that ever was or will be.

So THANK YOU for the love – we will continue to try to bring you games that you enjoy and can bring your friends [and families!] to.
But back to #ModernCollectiveGames – after the success of the previous week’s game i wasn’t sure if this one would take off, but the moment it dropped we knew it was going to be a big one as you dived in so quickly:

And of course, there was YOU – at one point when i went out for the evening and the game had already been running strong for over six hours, more than 13, 700 tweets had been entered and so i’m sure the final count was between 15 and 20 thousand, and they really came from all over the world… so know that we missed out some incredible ones, but some that caught our eye are the ones that made it on to this week’s:

There were SO MANY GOOD ONES this week that i really couldn’t choose the top F.L.O.P.s but i want to give YOU that opportunity in the comments below – out of this whole list, which ones gave you the greatest delight…
Huge applause to @Eezeebee101 for an excellent trendery debut and to all of you all for showing up and especially for getting us trending [and #1’ing] in South Africa and around the world and for [most of you] keeping it FAMILY and going huge on CLEVER and WITTY and MISDIRECTIONAL and RANDOM [but related] – you guys rock!
And that is a compliment you will understand and apppreciate… but in a few minutes, there may be some of a different kind so tune into @AFrikkinHashtag with @BrettFishA and introducing Katie @_Katiebyy69 who is co-hosting for the very first time. Come help us keep the WIT in the tWITterer…
