Another Wednesday, another game, a whole lot of super creative fun with our growing community. As much as we enjoy creating what we hope is an excellent game each week, that encourages creativity and invites brilliance, the game only happens if YOU show up, so thank you for repeatedly doing so.

Having been away Mon and Tues to try and finish off some writing i was doing and with my wife tbV [aka The Beautiful Val] having her birthday on game day, my backup crew and Hashtag friends who call themselves The Unnamed Ones stepped in and did a lot of the promoting and serious co-hosting on the day. THANK YOU team! What a great bunch!

i discovered in advance that May 25th was also International Towel Day with reference to comedic author Douglas Adams and his classic The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – if you haven’t read it, it is a must and will let you know why i have RANDOM [but related] as one of the four pillars of great tweets for my games [that and Monty Python, which we have already done a game for]. With of course WITTY, CLEVER and MISDIRECTIONAL being the other three.

As you may know, we try to keep @AFrikkinHashtag as a FAMILY game and this week you were so great in that regard so keep it up. Really was a lot of super silly fun and a pleasure to be a small part of [as i did manage to dive in from time to time to see how everyone was doing].

Our game starter tweet looked something like this:

It took us just 16 minutes [a new record] to be trending in Americaland:

And for the first time i think in the history of the game i was able to simply focus
on the HEARTing and RTing and made it on top of this one:

Came some other well known folks and while not everyone necessarily knows they are
playing a Hashtagging game, we are still grateful that they stopped by.

Green Party candidate, Dr Jill Stein gave this sage advice:

Because i wasn’t following the whole game, i’m sure i missed some absolute gems,
but i also was able to grab a few and my team also kept some of the best for me
