i have just started my video series on the Gospel of Luke in the Bible.
This is something i have been wanting to do for a long time but technology was holding me back and thanks to a Horsedawg called David Barta i am back up and running and this long-awaited series is finally happening.
Years ago i ran a series where i slowly worked my way through Mark in the Bible and shared thoughts, questions, challenges as i went passage by passage with the series title of Mark: My Words [which i thought was pretty clever].
So it gives me no end of delight to be introducing the new series which is called, wait for it – Luke: What i See!
The hope is that people will join me along the way, reading Luke with me, watching the videos and engaging with thoughts, questions and challenges of their own. This is not claiming to be a Bible-college theological commentary-level study of Luke but rather one man’s engagement with the text and the Holy Spirit and whichever other followers of Jesus want to join.
So please, share with any friends you think might be interested – you can do this with us as we go or you can pick it up later and move at your own pace – i do hope there will be a lot of engagement, especially as we get to some of the teaching and parables and really wrestle together with what it means to be a follower of Jesus and person of the kingdom.
Here is the Intro video and you can find the rest of them on my channel…
If you would like to be a part of the group that hope to engage with Luke as we go through it, search for the ‘Luke: What i See’ group on Facebook, add yourself, and start engaging with the video content… hope to see you there!
