Monday sees the premiere launch of our new You Tube channel: Character Stories for Children.
And as my friend Hairyette [who will be reading the very first story] tells me, it isn’t actually only for little children – big children, even those of the adult variety, might really enjoy it too.
Every day, from Monday to Friday, a new character will be reading a story, saying a poem and maybe even singing a song.
At exactly 3pm [South African time] a new video will be released and we are hoping that these can become a bit of an event during these lockdown days. Some will be long and others might be really short, but all of them will be an opportunity to unwind and forget about whatever you are missing and engage with a fun adventurous story together.
But don’t take my word for it, listen to Hairyette…
But don’t just take Hairyette’s word for it…
Once the video has been released it will be available for you to watch any time, but we are really looking forward to experiencing these stories together.
Premier Event
Especially when it comes to tomorrow afternoons very first video. So let your friends with children know, make some popcorn and other snacks for your children and get ready to “have your socks blown off” with us.
Character Stories for Children is going to be fun for the whole family and hopefully become a regular family event…
See you at the Premiere!
But don’t just take our words for it… Wilbur Polyester has a final word:
Hello Brett
I was looking at the graph for other countries and almost all of them went from 1500 or so to over 10000 in 2 weeks.
So in 2 weeks time, it would be irresponsible for governmnet to stop lockdown. Cases will go up huge amounts.
But the economy still needs to run.
I am not an essential business but I live month to months and pay rent.
I have to get to work to earn and pay.
At the end of April I will have to pay my flat rent. I have enough for rent for just that. Maybe 1200 left after rent. So if this lockdown goes on, I don’t get paid.
I am a physiotherapist by trade. We work 3 ladies and none of us can work now.
So my landlord is not exactly understanding. So I can pay him but battle in May. I definitely can’t pay May.
What are people doing in this case?
Regards Beth
