so by now i assume you know the drill - working on jack handeyesque brett andy one liners and needing some feedback as to which ones work and which don't - after starting round 3 feeling like i was going backwards i managed to hit two really popular ones and so i may be getting my groove back on - which ones of these made you smile, laugh or feel the need to forward on? [...]

getting a bunch of politicians from both sides of the Republican/Democratic side secretly inserting Rick Astley lyrics into their house speeches so they can splice together a whole song of his... niice... http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_theticket/20110408/ts_yblog_theticket/how-one-oregon-lawmaker-convinced-his-colleagues-to-rick-roll-the-state-legislature

april 8 brett andy quotes to be voted upon…

so one of my favourite funny people in life is a guy called Jack Handey who used to write one liners that were used on SNL such as: "Whenever you read a good book, it's like the author is right there, in the room, talking to you, which is why I don't like to read good books." [Jack Handey] and: "Laurie got offended that I used the word "puke." But to me, that's what her [...]

brett andy [vote for your favourite]

so one of my favourite funny people in life is a guy called Jack Handey who used to write one liners that were used on SNL such as: 'I remember how, in college, I got that part-time job as a circus clown, and how the children would laugh and laugh at me. I vowed, then and there, that I would get revenge.' [Jack Handey] or: 'Any man, in the right situation, is capable of murder. [...]

Fasting Morons

Pearls before Swine is my favourite cartoon being drawn today - i REALLY loved [and related to] this one - you can see more and subscribe to the daily cartoons here   [And if you enjoyed that then you will most likely enjoy what I think is one of the funniest-because-it-is-pretty-much-absolutely-true 'est cartoons on R.E.M. song lyrics]

be afraid – of new zealand – be very afraid…

is it just me or is this one of the most ridiculous sporting statements EVER since the days of Murray walker in Formula 1 talking about how a driver being overtaken was a great tactical move that would come into play later... the headline was "Conditions should suit us" "New Zealand wicketkeeper Brendon McCullum thinks his side's greater experience of conditions in Mirpur could give them the edge over South Africa in their quarter-final clash [...]

37… going on 22

so the other day i went to play some ultimate frisbee with my buddy roy and he brought his friend John with him - i got the time wrong and ended up arriving an hour early and so we chilled on the grass just lying and chatting and vibing while we waited... at one point john turned to me and asked if i matriculated in 2007... i was like, "no, dude i matriculated in 1991" [...]

"the wicketkeeper was asleep!" – yes, you're right…. literally!

i didn't watch a lot of the South Africa/India match because i was busy helping my friend make a short film and then mc'ing a charity event, and so was following mostly on radio and cricinfo, but i did get to see the start of the India innings where Sehwag glanced a ball behind him between the keep and first slip and the keeper didn't even move - it was crazy bizarre cos it seemed [...]
