so a while ago, after ten rounds of brett andy voting [jack handeyesque wannabe quotes i'm working on improving - some good, some bad, some ugly, but every now and then i just hit it.] i was going to do a massive best of vote in which i picked all my top ones and got people to pick the best of the best... but then i changed computers and all my brett andy voting results [...]
let me start by being perfectly honest here, i am not an artist... not in the drawing, painting, nude sculpture making sense anyways... when i was in high school i somehow managed to end up taking art as one of my choice subjects [i copied a monkey face pretty well back in standard 5/grade 7 and got accepted in art at westerford somehow that way] for grade 8 and 9 but very quickly found out [...]
so last nite A-Ron and i joined Steve and Kristin and friends for a 10pm showing [what a great time!] of Comedysportz, Philadelphia's longest running [similiar to us, 18 years i think they said] improv show. and had a really good time. Kind of a cross between Whose Line Is It Anyway?, TheatreSports and Stellenbosch's Ad Lib show and with a little more emphasis on the sports than we have the show starts with the [...]
so this list of new brett andy's came out pretty quickly after the last one but mostly courtesy of two eight hour driving trips to the wild goose fest and back and i think as a whole this is a pretty decent collection, but which one or two stand out for you as the really funny ones [if any]? “Pay a R10 fine or take a chance,” my girlfriend read aloud off the Monopoly card. so once upon a time there was a guy called jack handey who wrote some classic mostly one liners which were funny and random and sometimes both all at once... this inspired me to try my own and we are on the seventh round of voting - so if any of these make you smile or laugh or think about laughing really loudly then please let me know in a comment which ones do it [...]

where 'p' is for 'pain' there are three kinds of people in the world - those who are obsessed with the royal wedding happening in the uk today between william and kate and those who aren't [the third group being those fortunate enough to have no clue that it is happening, who i assume are the poor and marginalised because if you have a tv or computer you probably cannot avoid having had it thrust [...]
so i haven't been blogging here much lately - largely it's because tbV and i have been doing transcription work for the HSRC which takes up a lot of our time and involves a bigger lot of typing - listening to interviews on audio and typing them out and some of them are not very clear so it's a lot of focus and listening and scribing and so i guess i get a bit overtyped [...]
