so i haven't been blogging here much lately - largely it's because tbV and i have been doing transcription work for the HSRC which takes up a lot of our time and involves a bigger lot of typing - listening to interviews on audio and typing them out and some of them are not very clear so it's a lot of focus and listening and scribing and so i guess i get a bit overtyped [...]
yes, like you, i am over it. and yes, i still have not read the book, altho mostly because i have not had the opportunity to yet. however, because my friend sean du toit posted the link i had to at least check it out [i trust sean] and this really does seem to be the most balanced view of the new rob bell book that i have read as it highlights stuff rob gets [...]
this morning i walked up the mountain [slash glorified hill] above the stellenbosch sports fields with my friends megs and gnomus and a cup of BP coffee at a few minutes past 6 in the morning... we walked to the rough wooden cross and found a place to sit and stared across the valley at the luminated cross in the distance [til they switched it off]... there was more cloud cover than actual sun but [...]
a lot of people don't like the church - some people outright hate it [cos of things they've seen, experienced, heard about or feel the church has done to them], others are not fans [disillusioned, frustrated, confused, bored] while others just don't really care either way... i, on the other hand, love the church [as do many others and as does God which is always a good indicator] and i'm not talking about a specific [...]

so for anyone out there not familiar with the Christian faith, this is what this holiday is all about in the shell of a nut: # mankind is sinful - this is a pretty easy one to verify - read a newspaper, watch the news, hang out with yourself for a 24 hour period or anyone else that you like or specifically some people you don't - you don't need test tubes in a lab [...]

none of the time. i had this quick thort when we went shopping yesterday afternoon - as we were in the line about to pay we realised we were six eggs short of a full basket, or that we might need more than the six we were going to get, so tbV waited in line and i ran across Pick 'n Pay to the egg section to grab some eggs - looked for the cheapest [...]
