BIBLE THINGS
When switching from my old website to my new one, not everything made the jump and so i am creating this as a base page to stick helpful links about Bible-related things that will hopefully prove to be helpful resoources for you.
So far i have worked through the Psalms in a series i called ‘Psalmthings’, and then i did short video blogs through the book of Mark in a series called ‘Mark: My words’ and i also did a section where i looked at various of my ‘Favourite Verses’ that i enjoy and spoke a little bit about why.
In the not too distant future i will hopefully have the links back in here so you can make the most of them…
Mark, my words: Jesus freeing the demon possessed man.

Mark, my words: what kind of soil are you?
In Mark 4 verse 1 to 20 Jesus tells the parable of the sower and the seed that confuses His disciples so much that He has to sit with them later and explain it a [...]
Mark, my words: who is my family?
In Mark 3 verse 31 to 35 we see a very interesting dialogue take place as Jesus is informed that His family is waiting outside for Him... what does this mean for us? check it [...]
Thort for the Week
so probably close to 15 years ago i wrote a challenging email to a couple of friends of mine about some aspect of following Jesus... a week later i did the same... at some point [...]
Mark, my words: Unity, not denominationalism
As we look at Mark chapter 3 verse 20-27 i take a bit of a reverse glimpse of it by looking at denominations vs denominationalism [or as i sometimes refer to them in talks as [...]
Mark, my words: How do we pick leadership?
next up, we see Jesus select the 12 who He designates as apostles and makes some very interesting choices... so take a look at Mark 3 verse 13 to 19 to see the next post [...]
